Valhalla was nothing short of heaven for warriors- a promise of paradise made to the brave men who went to war for their people. That if the worst happened, they would not be forgotten but instead, have their spirits live on forever. It was the epitome of a warrior’s pride to be able to walk the halls of Valhalla as a soldier who laid down his life for his kingdom. Within its ceilings made of shields and walls made of spears, Valhalla had an army of fallen heroes. Each shared nothing short of a blood pact of fulfilling their mission. Though I can only help but wonder, is Valhalla real? And if so will I have lived a life to one day grace its presence?
