Only four "Anaye" (dark gods) were allowed to live in this world: Cold, Hunger, Poverty and Old Age. Her life was spared. Without her presence the world would get too hot, the seas and rivers would boil, and human beings would disappear. In some myths she cries because she suffers from the cold, her tears form the snow that falls from the sky.
