And so begin the Chronicles of Cronus the Titan... Well... There is a prior event involving him, his sickle, and his father Uranus but we'll leave that bit out for now. Cronus learned from Gaia and Uranus that he would one day be overcome by his own sons. In an effort to avoid the inevitable, Cronus ate his newborn children to prolong his legacy. It was until his sixth son, Zeus, that a plan was devised to free the Olympians and overthrow the vile Titan. The fate of Cronus, thereafter, still remains unanswered. In Homeric texts, he is imprisoned in Tartarus along with the other Titans. In Orphic poems, the cave of Nyx is thought to be his final place of captivity.
