Festivalling can lead to extreme feelings of euphoria. This is caused by the emotional energy created through the ritual. Euphoria is temporary and it fades after the festival. But when the ritual is strong enough, people will find ways to experience it again. They will connect with others, offline and online, and they will continue festivalling. This work is a simulacrum: a pixel drawing, based on a photograph taken at a festival.
