As the gold essence melted and bled into the shell it immediately solidified into an intricate pattern, as if everything in the material plane aligned just right. The snail lifted its head to reveal two piercing purple eyes before it erupted into an ominous flame. It wasn't a hot flame, but something eerie was happening.
