Tower of Babel

Collection of 480 fragments of alienated painting „Tower of Babel". This painting by Rudolf Reither is an alienation of the original by Pieter Bruegel the elder, hosted in the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna. The tower serves as a symbol of the upside-down world, the arrogance and inadequacy of human activity. By adding the twist of the Gasometer in Vienna and a ship burning, it takes it into the 21th century and reminds on today's relevance of the original.
