Theon Robots Project

In an outer ring of the unique polar ring galaxy, NGC 660, there exists a planet, Theon YB2, that is inhabited by a race of self-aware robots referred to as the Theonites. Originating more than 870 million years before the civilizations on Earth, the Theonites developed language and culture based on their exploratory travels throughout the universe over the course of millennia. The Theonite portraits shared here are the result of a painstaking image reassembly process based on faint signals received from that region of space using radio telescopes over a period of several decades. Until now, these surprising portraits were suppressed and hidden until they began to emerge within newly-developed, Earth-based AI protocols.
