Missing Faces

Reconnecting our scene one face at a time through living portraits of Detroit's underground community. This immersive 100% hand-drawn portrait series explores the novel experience of absence within the deeply connected community of electronic music. Detroit's underground is a way of life for many, to which identities have been formed and self-expression, honored. This NFT series entices collectors to take a trip through not too distant memories of packed spaces, familiar faces, and loud rhythms reverberating from the city's underground. We invite the NFT community to take a deeper look at Detroit’s pre-pandemic cultural scene, in an effort to manifest how our scene will shift to post-pandemic life. This is a nod to all of the artists and promoters and service industry workers and partygoers, who have reimagined their offerings in order to keep the spirit of the underground alive.
