The nature of dreaming is similar to that of drawing. The space of a dream is a canvas, on which you plot lines following them all out, having no plan of action, no destination, except for the intention to follow the line here and now. The process of drawing tangles the one-dimensionality of a canvas transforming it into layers, the tissue of shapes and discoveries. One can get lost in the drawing and even disappear while being hoaxed by it. The lines then shape an exit from a space created – a door behind the canvas, which answers the riddle and offers a transition. There is great power in a state of transition.
