She was raised on the island of Antigua where she received most of her schooling and eventually relocated to Georgia to further her studies. Mené showed from an early age of 8 that there was a creative spark lit inside of her as she dappled lessons in dance and music where she learned to play a few instruments and loved to sing. In her late teen years her focus on the creative arts began to reignite in an intense passion. This caused her to begin the journey of writing and recording music, becoming a self taught visual artist with a unique abstract style to canvas, and a writer of books. The name she gives to her painting collection is Redefined Series. These unique characters are redefining the world by telling their stories through their creator.
